Our mission is to start a Running Revolution that allows every woman to move toward greater mental, physical and social well-being. To fill the streets and paths with women running toward personal empowerment.
The Running Revolution is an all-volunteer women’s running program combining run training, education, sisterly support and just enough magic to help non-runners become runners and runners become better runners.
The Running Revolution meets for ten consecutive Tuesdays of inspiration, instruction and running before joining racers from around the region to run the Cinco Races at the 2.5K, 5K, 10K, 15K or 13.1-mile (half marathon) distance.
Though formal Rev meetings end with the Cinco Race, Revolutionaries meet throughout the year for weekly training runs, races, parties, and just to spend time together. The Revolution isn’t just about running. We are about building support systems, social networks, healthful habits, friendships, and – oh yes – girl power!
